Flagging

Flags (as they are known in the NW of England) or Slabs (as they are known in other parts of England) are flat, rectangular blocks of pressed concrete.

They offer a highly versatile, yet reasonably priced paving unit. Widely used for public footpaths, as well as for patios, drives and just about anywhere else a simple, reliable and effective pavement is required. The standard units are not designed to be particularly attractive, utilitarian is the best way to describe them, although there are now textured, exposed aggregate and polished versions available, albeit at a premium.

What We Will Do

If you interested in flagging an area of land, we will manage the project from start to finish.

During an initial consultation we will discuss the various types of flags available (textured, exposed aggregate and polished versions), also get an idea of the areas of coverage required. Once this information has been acquired, we will submit the most cost-effective bid that satisfies all of your needs.

If our bid meets your satisfaction, we will carry out the purchasing of all raw materials, and execute all stages of the laying, from initial excavation to final sealing.
